Ottica Gallia presents the collection of French handcrafted eyewear by Francois Pinton 2021 of the Parisian optician historian of the 1950s. Robert Francois Pinton artisan jeweler designs glasses for Cary Grant and Marlene Dietrich for the actors of the Roaring Twenties. Subsequently Dominique Pinton son of the famous Robert opens the famous Maison Francois Pinton in 1953 and Francois Pinton’s glasses are always handmade for Jackie O (Jackie Kennedy) in the iconic Jackie model and and for Aristotle Onassis in the Ona model. In the 60s / 70s the Maison launched iconic models for the jet set of the Côte d’Azur, among the most representative characters such as the family of the principality of Monaco and in particular Grace Kelly.More recently Francois Pinton’s glasses have dressed the face by Catherine Deneuve and Nicole Kidman. In Rome at Ottica Galllia the collection of Francois Pinton will revive the atmosphere of the French Dolce Vita.
